Our Services

Food Assistance

Staples and ready-to-eat meals for low-income families, including items donated by the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and local grocery stores through our retail rescue program.

Clothing Closet

Access free, gently used clothing for men and women. Clothing is available Monday through Friday during office hours.​

Transportation Assistance

HRT bus tickets for work, medical appointments, and other essential travel. Amtrak tickets through our Homeward Bound program to reunite individuals with their families.

Utility Assistance

Limited financial support to help with utility bills (up to $75 per year).​

Tax Preparation Assistance

Seasonal assistance for low-income individuals and families.
